Durox System - Thin Joint Blockwork
This smart system combines high quality, lightweight, large-format blocks with a purpose made thin layer mortar.
Durox System is a fast-build method of construction offering the potential for speedier and better building quality.
Benefits of Thin Joint
The thin layer mortar sets very quickly enabling the blockwork to proceed very quickly. This results in the early weather proofing of the external envelope, allowing internal trades to commence their work sooner compared to coventional construction methods.
The combination of the larger size blocks and thin layer mortar will improve the airtightness and U-value of the structure compared to conventional methods of construction.
Uses
Durox System can be used to construct external solid, inner leaf
and partition walls in all types of buildings. It can also be used for seperating walls that conform to Robust Detail specifications E-WM-10 and E-WM-13, Durox System is particularly suited to housing, as well as commercial building where long runs of blockwork yield maximum productivity gains.
Durox System blocks are available in a range of widths and course heights.
