Hemelite Standard

Hemelite Standard

Hemelite Standard are lightweight blocks suitable for the construction of walls above and below ground and for beam and block floor systems. Hemelite Standard is suitable for the construction of separating walls in dwellings including specifications that conform to Robust Details E-WM-2,
E-WM-4, E-WM-8, E-WM-11 and E-WM-14.  They have a proven high level of technical performance and provide a strong background for the application of surface finishes and fixings.

+An alternative way to construct a 215mm wall is to use 100 or 140mm Hemelite blocks laid flat. Alternatively, 190-215mm walls can be built using two leaves of 90mm / 100mm Hemelite laid back to back and suitably tied. Design guidance on both these methods of construction is given in BS 5628-1 or contact Topblock technical services for advice.
