Tarmac Topblock goes green and wins gold!

Blocks donated by Tarmac Topblock were used to create an award-wining show garden at the RHS Flower Show at Tatton Park in Cheshire.

Leading designer, Janine Crimmins, working alongside the Prince's Trust, used 1,500 Durox 150mm blocks to create a series of walls and structures within her stunning and vibrantly coloured garden, entitled 'A Personal Journey'. The design represents the journey a young person takes on the road to seeking self-improvement with the help of The Prince's Trust.

RHS judges at the Tatton Park show agreed that the garden was unique and one of the best designs, and awarded it with a prestigious and much coveted Gold Medal! The garden even made it onto TV, and was shown during BBC2's coverage of the event on 19 July. Tatton Park is high profile event on the RHS calendar, and attracts over 100,000 visitors.

The show garden was built with help from a number of volunteer workers, including young people involved with the Prince's Trust programs, as well as representatives from companies who supported the garden.

Janine Crimmins and all involved at the Prince's Trust have passed on their sincere thanks to Topblock for their contribution to the show garden.
