Topcrete Standard
These dense blocks are perfect for building walls above and below ground, as well as for beam and block floor systems. Topcrete Standard is suitable for the construction of separating walls in dwellings including specifications that conform to Robust Details E-WM-1 and E-WM-3. They're really durable and have excellent loadbearing and sound insulation properties, as well as low movement characteristics. They are ideal for finishing with render, cladding, plaster and drylining.

+An alternative way to construct a 215mm wall is to use 100 or 140mm Topcrete blocks laid flat. Alternatively, 190-215mm walls can be built using two leaves of 90mm / 100mm Topcrete back to back and suitably tied. Design guidance on both these methods of construction is given in BS 5628-1 or contact Topblock technical services for advice.
